Saturday March 6th is Meet the Coach Day for all of our Hanover based teams.  This year’s Meet the Coach Day will be held inside of Pole Green Elementary School.  Just look for the Dynamo Wind Feathers.

Things to do at Meet the Coach Day:

1. Meet the coach of your child’s team.
2. Learn the new and exciting developments within Dynamo Soccer Club.
3. Meet the Dynamo Soccer Club Board Members and ask questions.
4. Receive your player’s jersey and socks.
5. Purchase shorts for your player (only $10).
6. Sign up to Volunteer for different things.
7. Purchase your Spring equipment needs (shin guards, balls, etc.)
8. Purchase your Spring Spirit Wear!

The times for Meet the Coach Day at Pole Green Elementary School are as follows:

U4-U5 will meet at 1:00pm

U6-U8 will meet at 2:30pm

U10-U18 will meet at 4:00pm

Recreational Program
Dynamo Soccer Club fields teams in the Recreational Program for both boys and girls, ages 4-18 years old. The goals of this program are centered around the joy of playing soccer and providing a fun atmosphere where the child can play and grow. Registration is open to anyone who wants to participate.

When deciding which age group to play for, please follow the guidelines below regarding birthdates.  Understand that playing outside of your age group is not allowed, in recreational play.  If your child needs a more competitive level, please see our Advanced Training or Select Travel Programs.

Ages Divisions:
Only the following ages will be offered this Spring 2010 recreational season:
U4 Dyno-Mites (Birth date must fall between 8-1-05 to 7-31-06) **NEW**
U5 (Birth date must fall between 8-1-04 to 7-31-05)
U6 (Birth date must fall between 8-1-03 to 7-31-04)
U7 (Birth date must fall between 8-1-02 to 7-31-03)
U8 (Birth date must fall between 8-1-01 to 7-31-02)
*U10 (Birth date must fall between 8-1-99 to 7-31-01) - this is U9 and U10 combined
*U12 (Birth date must fall between 8-1-97 to 7-31-99) - this is U11 and U12 combined
*U14 (Birth date must fall between 8-1-95 to 7-31-97) - this is U13 and U14 combined
*High School Division (Birth date must fall between 8-1-91 to 7-31-95) - this is U15, U16 U17 and U18 combined

*Please remember that at U10, U12, U14,  and High School Division we will offer a coed and a girls only division

Cost and Expense
Dynamo Soccer Club operates two separate seasons each year and teams are formulated new each season.
Fall season $75 (September to mid-November)
Spring season Pre-Registration $75 (mid-Nov. to Feb. 1) Spring Registration $85 begins February 2- February 12.
*Fees include jersey, county participation fee, insurance, administration, field maintenance, field equipment, coaching equipment, and staff.

Training
Players will practice 1 night per week and once a month the Director of Coaching will oversee an age group specific training program.

Competition
All games are "in-house" or within the Dynamo Soccer Club for U5, U6, U7, U8, and U10.  U12 (maybe), U14, U16, and U18 will require some travel within the Richmond area to play other teams.

Coaching Staff
DSC has a Director of Coaching which oversees coaching education and coach placement. The Developmental Program coaching staff is strictly volunteer/parent coaches. Parent participation is encouraged and professional instruction is provided at the start of each season.
