The first spring season of Dynamo Soccer Club saw the creation of our recreational program which began with 320 players registered, participating in U6, U8, U10 and U12 age groups.  Since then, the club has more than tripled in the number of membership and has grown to include Select Travel Teams, an Advanced Training Program, a U-4 Dynamite Division, Girls’ Recreational Divisions, and a full spectrum of age groups in our Coed Recreational Programs spanning U5 through U18. With our success, Dynamo Soccer Club has gained partnerships with Adidas and D.C. United to provide our club with the best equipment and experience possible.

 

Dynamo Soccer Club has also shared our ideal of offering lower-cost options by putting together youth soccer tournaments that offer competitive play at reasonable prices, extending this opportunity to other clubs in Richmond and surrounding areas   Dynamo Soccer Club’s Virginia Soccer Festival, our annual Recreation tournament, has grown into an event supporting more than 90 teams visiting Mechanicsville and Hanover County. The Capital Cup and Commonwealth Classic, both Dynamo Soccer Club travel tournaments, have grown to include more than 100 teams at each event.

 

Community participation is an important aspect to Dynamo Soccer Club. We believe in enriching children’s lives both on and off the field. We are proud sponsors of many elementary schools in the area, participating in events like the Mechanicsville Elementary’s Mechanicsville Miler, Cool Spring Primary’s Turkey Trot and Kersey Creek Elementary’s Fitness Night. In addition, Dynamo Soccer Club has also donated equipment to many school’s P.E. programs and fully equiped King William High School’s Girl’s Varsity soccer team.

Dynamo Soccer Club games and practices are scheduled in the Mechanicsville and King William area at local parks and schools; however, the majority of practices and games are held at Pole Green Park.  Dynamo Soccer Club continues growth and commitment to Mechanicsville and King William residents and looks forward to continued involvement with the community.
